The unusual thing about this design is that the hull is shaped like the vessel's own bow wave. The idea is that it would hydroplane on top of its own bow-wave.
In sketch 1, the aft two-thirds of the hull is a hybrid shape blending a normal keel shape with concave sides that change to the shape of the bow wave at the water line. The trimaran outriggers are not shown in this sketch.
Sketch 2 shows a slightly different variation with outriggers included. The aft two-thirds of the trimaran's main hull is more flattened and shaped like the bow-wave.
